Joann Wolf, 93 of Viola, died Friday, January 17, 2025, at Mercer Manor with her family at her side. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Speer Funeral Home, Aledo with visitation one hour prior to services. Private family burial will be in Viola Cemetery, Viola, Illinois. Memorials may be made to MercyOne Genesis Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary.The funeral will be livestreamed on  the Speer Funeral Home Facebook page. Adrian Joann was born on November 17, 1931, in Rock Island, Illinois to Clarence & Alberta E. (Young) Stegemann. She married Kenneth Wolf on October 23, 1950, in Iowa City, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1999.Joann worked for many years with Illinois Bell Telephone Company and Mercer County Livestock. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching her soap operas, crocheting and reading. Joann’s family time was most important, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
