Rickie was born on January 28, 1957 in Alton, Illinois to David Robert and Edna Leona Homer McLain. He was employed as a HVAC Technician and was an avid Star Wars and Star Trek fan. Those left to cherish his memories include two daughters: Jennifer (Daniel) Daine of Bunker Hill, Illinois and Katie Lovejoy of Matherville, Illinois; four grandchildren: Everleigh, Saylor, Ophelia, and Memphis; one sister, Anita McLain; three brothers: Richard, Robert and David C. McLain; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Lyle and Dawn Pearson. His parents and sister, Shirley McLain preceded him in death.
